Start with the cards and actions

In Hold’em, your two private cards combine with the community cards to make a five-card hand. Omaha uses a different rule: exactly two private cards and three community cards. Learn when checking, betting, calling, raising or folding is available, then follow how each betting round changes the pot.

Build a decision framework

Hand strength is only part of a decision. Position, the amount required to call, stack sizes and previous public actions also matter. Pot odds compare the cost of a call with the pot available, but they do not account for every future action or an opponent’s likely cards.

Use practice to ask better questions

Where a play-money mode is available, use it to become familiar with the table controls and ask for explanations. Request examples or compare situations with the AI assistant. Educational guidance and hand signals support learning; they cannot remove losses or replace your judgment.
